Grand Theft Auto VI Releases May 2026

GTA VI was pushed far back from it’s initial release date for Autumn 2025 to May 2026

The excitement for the release of Grand Theft Auto VI has been never-ending! Grand Theft Auto VI is set to release in May 2026!

Grand Theft Auto VI is set to redefine video game realism and it’s going to be a MASSIVE game! The Grand Theft Auto VI location will be Vice City, the fictionalized version of Miami, Florida.

It’s been officially announced that some of the major locations in Grand Theft Auto VI will include Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga. There are also rumors that three counties will be apart of the Grand Theft Auto VI map: Kelly, Leonard and Vice-Dale County.

The map is said to be SIGNIFICANTLY larger than the map of Grand Theft Auto V! That’s a lot of exploring to do!

The gameplay is set to be a lot more realistic in terms of what you’re able to do versus with other Grand Theft Auto games, not just with the fighting. You’ll be able to use a large amount of weapons and objects in ways you didn’t think would be possible in a GTA game!

GTA 6 will also have the longest story line which is rumored to be more than 45+ hours of game time! And that’s just the main story line! Think of all the extra side quests, secrets and exploration there will be! Rumor has it that you’ll have access to a really large variety of vehicles as well and not just cars!
